Mike Zablocki
Executive Director
Mike is General Manager of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research and a Director of BioOra Ltd. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Bristol, before moving to New Zealand in 2002. In 2011 he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at Victoria University of Wellington.
Peter Lai
Executive Director
Peter is an experienced independent director and is Administrative Director of the China–Maurice Wilkins Centre Collaborative Research Programme which facilitates collaboration between New Zealand and China scientists. He has a Master of Science and a Master of Business Administration.
Prof Graham Le Gros
CNZM, PHD, FRSNZ, FRCPA (Hon)
Director
Graham is Director (Chief Executive) of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research where he leads an active biomedical research programme in allergic and parasitic diseases. An immunologist, he completed his PhD at the University of Auckland then undertook a three-year Fogarty Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Washington DC before working for Ciba-Geigy in Switzerland. He returned to New Zealand in 1994 to lead the Malaghan Institute.

Tom Tang 汤朝阳
Chair
Tom is founder and Chair of Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group. He is on the Executive Committee of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Director of China Glorious Association. A senior economist, Tom has a Master of Business Administration and was named in the Top Ten Innovative Entrepreneurs in Global Hunan Business Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneurs.
Dr Peng Li 李鹏
Director
Peng is co-founder, Vice Chair and Chief Scientist of Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group. A Cambridge University graduate, he completed postdoctorate studies at the Sanger Institute in the United Kingdom. He is a Research Fellow and PhD supervisor at the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, and Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was awarded Outstanding Youth from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and High-tech young talents and is involved in Changsha's plan to introduce urgently needed and strategic talents.
